Dr. Morgan L. Russell is a 2013 graduate of South Carolina State University where she
obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In June of 2015 Morgan received a
Master of Science in Higher Education from Walden University and in June of 2019 Morgan received a Doctorate of Education Degree in Higher Education Leadership from
Maryville University, St. Louis, MI. Dr. Russell was formerly the Director of Testing, Compliance & Disability Services and the Student Success Center at Hampton University where
she was the youngest Department Director within the Administrative Services and Student
Affairs division and as the Manager of Disability Services at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She is currently the Dean for Student Equity & Inclusion and Director of the Student Center for Equity & Inclusion at University of Richmond.

She served as the University liaison while at Hampton University for the City of Hampton Mayor’s Committee for People with Disabilities and was appointed by the Hampton City Council to serve on the Board of Directors for the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board in
Virginia. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and active with
the Lambda Omega Chapter of Newport News, VA. She is also a member of the
Southern Association for College Student Affairs (SACSA) and the National Association
for Student Affairs Professionals (NASAP).
